Eye makeup application

This is the ultimate destination for you to learn and educate yourself about makeup and ENDLESS BEAUTY TOPICS. Are you ready for some great, easy, step by step application ideas?

E.Eye Makeup:
Almond shaped eyes are considered to be the ideal. So when making up eyes, one tries with the help of light and dark eye makeup to make the necessary changes to give the eyes an almond appearance.

1.Eyeshadow:

The following steps are followed in the application of eyeshadow shades.
i.Using a fine, blunt-ended brush, gently apply the base colour to the entire lid from the inside to the outside corner and from the base of the lashes to the eyelid crease.
ii.If the eyes need extra definition, a deeper shade is blended into the crease line. This gives depth to the eyes.
iii.The brow bone is highlighted with a light shade. This gives the eyes a wide, open look. The colour is applied to the most prominent area and blended up towards the brow and down to where the contour curves down, toward the eyelid creases.
Before using them on the lids, always test the colours on the back of the hand to test the intensity. You can use even 3-4 colours, provided they are blended well.Remember pale tones emphasize, while deep sooty shades define.

Close Set Eyes

These  need a dark shadow blended into out half of the eyes to give illusion that they are further apart.  Start by drawing your pencil out a little just above natural eye crease.  Now blend a strong color into the outer area.  The inner top lid area can be left natural or a pale color can be used if you like.  When applying mascaras, brush your top lashes outwards, concentrating on the color with an extra coat on outer lashes

 Normal Eyes
. If you are fortunate enough to have this shape you can be as adventurous as you like. What you should be aiming for with eye makeup is to make your eyes look even more attractive by giving them strength with the help of eyeliner pencil.  A pale color can be blended on lid while a darker shade is smoothed into the outer corners and socket line to give more depth and character.  Finish off with a coat of mascara.
.

  1. . Apply a light color over your entire eye lid from lash line to brow. Use a large flat eye shadow brush. Always use good quality brushes.
  2. . The second step is to apply a medium shadow color on your lower lid from lash line to the crease of your eye. Use a fluff brush.
  3. .The third step is to use your darkest color as a liner and apply along your lash line. To insure shadow will not flake, dampen your eyeliner brush before applying shadow. This will make it last longer.
  4. Types of eye shadows

  •      Dark - This is applied only to the eyelids from the lashline to the crease in the eyelid.
  •      Medium - This is applied from just below the eyelid crease to the browbone.
  •      Highlight - This is the lightest of the three and is applied to the browbone and extends a little past the outer end of the eyebrow. This usually gives a pearly finish.
